What is going to happen is I am going to cover green stories in Atlanta. My focus is on green construction in Atlanta and other green “lifestyle” businesses. My construction articles will cover everything from innovations in building materials and sustainable design to the companies who are exploring these technologies. My green lifestyle focus will include stories about green restaurants, clothing boutiques, salons, pest control services, commercial cleaning companies and numerous other eco-friendly companies.
After just a few days of research on www.citysearch.com and www.ajc.com, I am astonished at how many “green” businesses are growing in Atlanta. I was pleased to see not just how many green businesses Atlanta sustains, but also the variety of industries. The most unusual was an environmentally friendly pest control company. They use pesticides derived from essential plant oils as an alternative to the pesticides used by other exterminators. I am going to schedule an interview with the owners of this company because I am very curious in the products and services which they provide.
